There's an old myth that "looks don't matter".
Well, reality check? It does.
You don't have to be Ken Watanabe or anything like that. You do however, have to recognize that part of what a lot of girls work hard on is looking good.
You don't want to see how a girl looks like if she's disappointed with the guy she's getting. Why, you need to look good yourself. There's no need for 6-8 pack abs. You don't even need bling bling or all those shiny things.
You just need to have a clean appearance, no holes in your socks and no old dirty shoes. Be neat. How you wear your clothes is how you advertise yourself to others.
If you're not into hip-hop at all, no need to wear hip-hop clothes. If you're not a "thug" then, don't act like one.
Plus, dress according to the venue.
It's easy to get carried away with the patina of "equality" which they say in America, but you'd be better off if you respect the rule of clothing in the venues you're in.
It gives you self-respect.
